Chuck E Cheese taps Sean Gleason as CMO


CEC Entertainment LLC has announced the appointment of Sean Gleason to the position of chief marketing officer for Chuck E. Cheese and its virtual kitchen brands, including Pasqually’s Pizza & Wings, according to a press release.

“I am thrilled to have Sean join CEC Entertainment to lead the marketing strategy for the world’s largest family entertainment center brand, Chuck E Cheese.” David McKillips, president and CEO of CEC Entertainment, said in the press release. “His proven leadership, expertise and success across the restaurant and family entertainment business is a perfect complement to the most aggressive brand transformation in the company’s history.”

Gleason will lead all marketing functions, menu innovation, guest insights, communications and the brand’s digital marketing and consumer journey initiatives at Chuck E. Cheese.

Gleason has more than 35 years of marketing strategy, media, advertising and brand experience. Most recently, he ran his own consulting firm. He also has experience leading the marketing efforts at Dave & Buster’s as the brand’s chief marketing officer, and he served as SVP, strategic marketing communications for Dr Pepper Snapple Group. He also spent more than 10 years is a leadership role at Pizza Hut.

CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck. E. Cheese restaurants, more than 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues and Pasqually’s Pizza & Wings ghost kitchens.
