Fat Kid Pizza is coming to The Empire Mall in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It’s brought to the mall by the owners of Fat Kid Filly’s, according to a Sioux Falls Business report.
“I’m just a fat kid who likes pizza,” Cody Sauers, owner of Fat Kid Pizza, said in the press release.
The report said that Sauers turned to pizza because the mall already had a cheesesteak place, and they’d gotten good at making pizzas while running the Fat Kid Saloon for six months.
The pizza is slated to be similar to a New York-style.
“One day a week, we’ll do some sort of specialty, artisan-style pizza,” he told the news outlet.
