Happy Joe’s has launched a Sloppy Joe pizza line which is available through June 30 at participating locations, according to a press release.
The pizza is an adaptation of the eponymous sandwich, including ground beef, house special sloppy joe sauce, mozzarella, provolone, cheddar cheese and garnish of dill pickles and yellow mustard.
“Food is meant to evoke good memories and we’re sure that our new Sloppy Joe pizza will hit that mark with many of our fans,” Tom Sacco, CEO and chief happiness officer at Happy Joe’s, said in the release. “We worked hard to make sure this sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy to bring out that zing to everyone’s taste buds on the first bite. And if it’s not sweet enough, then add Joe’s Cookie Pizza, served warm and delicious. It is like a taste of home.“
