House of Pizza gives away $9K in gift cards to teachers

House of Pizza in St. Could, Minnesota recently handed out $5 gift cards to teachers, according to a KNSI report.

“Teachers were just thrilled, Brandon Testa, owner, told the radio station. “Normally, we’d see the administrative person or whatever and they were just thrilled to have it and then we got a lot of good feedback and comments on social media as well.”

In all, Testa gave away more than $9,000 worth of gift certificates. It’s the third year for the Teacher’s Appreciation Week giveaway.

“I can guarantee you that teachers that are coming into our locations will more than likely, on any given chance, will be welcomed with one of their students or somebody that they may see in the halls at their schools,” Testa said.
