Pizza Hut and culinary collective Chain have created a Hut Hat that brings together two of the brand’s iconic aspects – the red roof and lampshades. The bucket hat is reversible and features a resemblance to Pizza Hut’s signature red roof on one side; the other side has a checkered design reminiscent of Pizza Hut’s classic black-, white- and red-checkered lamps, according to a press release.
“Those Pizza Hut Tiffany lamps are some of the most iconic pieces of New Americana design,” Nicholas Kraft, a co-founder at Chain, said in the press release. “They elicit such joy and fond memories — and let’s be real: they kinda look like bucket hats all on their own.”
“Pizza Hut and Chain are a perfect match,” Lindsay Morgan, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut, said in the press release. “We both love modern twists on icons whether its great tasting pizza or fashion and can’t wait to see fans styling these new hats.”
The hats are available for $35 at eatatchain.com/collections/hut_hat.
Pizza Hut operates nearly 18,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries.
